Sadly a man has died following a fire at a flat on Darndale Close in Walthamstow on Monday 22 December.
Part of a first-floor flat was damaged by fire.
One man was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead the following day.
The Brigade was called at 0708 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
