Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Pownall Road in Hackney.
Part of a first-floor flat was damaged by fire. A woman was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews and a man and a child were taken to hospital.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of three calls to the fire at 1038 and sent crews from Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Dockhead and Stoke Newington fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1141.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
