Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled a fire at a house converted into flats on Inglis Road in Ealing.  

Part of the second floor and half of the roof of a detached property were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.  

One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene as a water tower to tackle flames from height.  

The Brigade’s Control Officers were called at 0027 and sent crews from Acton, Ealing, Chiswick, Park Royal, Wembley and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 0300.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
