Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters tackled a fire at a range of terraced houses on Silkstream Road in Burnt Oak.
The roof, first floor and part of the ground floor of two terraced houses were damaged by the fire. The roof, first floor and half of the ground floor of a third terraced house were damaged by the fire. The roof, first floor, a lean-to and part of the ground floor of a fourth terraced house were damaged by the fire. A small part of the roof of a fifth terraced house was damaged by the fire. Three people left the building before the Brigade arrived and were treated on scene by London Ambulance Service.
One of the Brigade's 32-metre turntable ladders was used as a water tower to help tackle the fire from above.
Control Officers took the first of 36 calls at 1604 and mobilised crews from Hendon, West Hampstead, Mill Hill and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1811.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.
