Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a fire on Glengall Road in Peckham.
The fire occurred in a split-level maisonette situated within a four-storey residential building. Part of the first-floor of the maisonette was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade received the first of five calls at 1847 and Control Officers mobilised crews from Peckham, New Cross, Dowgate and Deptford fire stations to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 1956.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
