Join us at our second St George’s Day celebration at Dockhead Fire Station, building on the fantastic success of last year’s event.

We’ll be celebrating St George, the patron saint of England and many other countries. So come along to learn more about St George as well as important fire safety information and fun activities.

This is a free event, with some cash stalls.

The event, organised by colleagues across the Brigade, will feature a wide range of activities and performances, including Morris Dancers, Pearly Kings and Queens, and a special telling of the story of St George’s Day and its history.

We’ll be welcoming colleagues including the drone team (if available), our Fire Cadets, Outreach and Ceremonial team, our fire dog and Mia Hilborn, our multi-faith chaplain. We’ll also be joined by colleagues from other agencies, including London Ambulance Service.

There will be plenty of food and family-friendly activities, including inflatables, badge making, face painting, a magician, and live music throughout the day - something for everyone.

This event has been made possible through the generous support of the LFB Welfare Fund.
