A woman has sadly died at a house fire on Richford Street in Hammersmith.
Part of the ground was damaged by the blaze. Firefighters rescued one man from the ground floor hallway. Fire crews found the body of a woman in the living room. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Brigade was called at 0738 and the fire was under control by 0834. Firefighters from Hammersmith fire station was at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
