Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Totteridge Village, Whetstone.
The roof and second floor of a detached house were destroyed by the fire and the first floor was damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1407 and the fire was under control by 1805. Fire crews from Barnet, Finchley, Southgate and other surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
