Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Elgin Avenue in Maida Vale.
Part of the basement was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1615 and the fire was under control by 1738. Fire crews from Kensington, Hammersmith, Paddington and West Hampstead fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
