Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters attended a house fire on Beckett Close in Belvedere on Monday.
Firefighters attended a fire at a detached house, which damaged decking at the rear of the house, part of the exterior of the property and part of the roof. Two adults and two children left the property ahead of the Brigade arriving.
The Brigade were called at 2248 and the fire was under control at 0021, crews from Erith, Shadwell, Bexley, Millwall and Elthan attended the scene. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
