Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a hotel above a shop in The Broadway in Southall.
Part of a second floor hotel room was damaged by fire. Five people left the hotel before the arrival of the Brigade.
The Brigade was called at 1358 and the fire was under control at 1622. Fire crews from Northolt, Hillingdon, Hayes and Heston fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
