Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Chelmsford Close in Hammersmith last night.
Part of the second floor flat was damaged by fire.
A man from the affected flat left before the Brigade arrived and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews. A further man from an adjacent flat suffered slight smoke inhalation and was also taken to hospital.
The Brigade was called at 2121 and the fire was under control by 2237. Fire crews from Hammersmith, Chiswick, North Kensington and Acton fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
