Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in Jenningtree Way, Erith.
A range of sheds and stables were destroyed by fire. Firefighters removed five gas cylinders and cooled them to ambient temperatures, as gas cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The Brigade was called at 1042 and the fire was under control at 1226. Fire crews from Erith, Bexley and Plumstead fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
