Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Cheyne Walk, Southgate.
Approximately half of the roof was damaged by fire. Five people left before the arrival of the Brigade.
The Brigade was called at 1055 and the fire was under control at 1218. Fire crews from Southgate, Edmonton, and Enfield fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental hot works coming from welding or cutting equipment.
