Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of maisonettes of five floors in Winstanley Road, Battersea.
The ground floor of a maisonette was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0959 and the fire was under control at 1104. Fire crews from Battersea, Clapham, Chelsea, and Wandsworth fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
