Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters were called to a fire at a house in Manor Way, Southall.
A small part of the ground floor was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1756 and the fire was under control at 1841. Fire crews from Hayes and Feltham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
