House fire - North Woolwich

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire at two terraced houses on Milk Street in North Woolwich.

Half of the first, second and roof of an end-of terrace house was damaged by fire. The neighbouring house was also affected by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1429 and  the fire was under control at 1603. Fire crews from East Ham, Plaistow, Barking, and Stratford fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
