Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a terraced house in Cedar Avenue, Enfield.
Half of the first floor and part of the ground floor was damaged by the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 1738 and the fire was under control at 1828. Fire crews from Enfield and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
