Come along and meet firefighters and the LFB Museum team at our open day.

The LFB Museum team will be commemorating James Braidwood, ‘Father of the British Fire Service’ with 2 modern appliances, a vintage fire appliance, new 32m aerial appliance and new Command Unit. 

We’ll be there to offer safety advice, talk about our work show you around.

Our Outreach team will be attending, badge making and squirting water from the hoses, along with the North East Area Team, North East CFS Area Team, Hatzola and ice cream van. 

Each open day will be individual to the station, but there will a fire engine on display for everyone to have a good look at, and may be even get in.

We want our fire station to be at the heart of our community, so come along, bring the whole family and lets enjoy the summer together!
