Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a fire in a block of flats on Thurlow Road in Southwark.
Firefighters tackled a fire within a storage cupboard on the third floor of an eight storey block of flats. The cupboard was completely destroyed by the fire. No injuries were reported.
The Brigade were called at 1547 and the fire was under control by 1640. Crews from Old Kent Road, Peckham, Dockhead and Lambeth River fire stations attended the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
