Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Francis Chichester Way in Wandsworth.
There was a small fire in the bathroom of a flat on the seventh floor. One man left the property before the Brigade arrived. He was treated on scene for shock by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 0334 and the fire was under control by 0458. Fire crews from Battersea, Chelsea, Clapham and Lambeth fire stations were on the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
