Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on St Thomas's Road in Harlesden.
There was a small fire in a ground floor bedroom of the mid-terraced house. One man was rescued by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus. He was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The Brigade was called at 1821 and the fire was under control by 1845. Fire crews from Park Royal, Willesden and North Kensington fire stations were at the scene.
