Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters were called to a fire on Sidmouth Road in Leyton.
A motorhome was destroyed by the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
Twitter user @Volkanberg, who was at the scene, thanked the Brigade on Twitter and said: “Shout out to London Fire Brigade for their insane speedy response last night. Happy no one was hurt”.
The Brigade were called at 2314 and the fire was under control by 2352. Fire crews from Leyton, Leytonstone and Stratford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
