House fire - Tottenham
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a mid-terraced house on Great Cambridge Road in Tottenham.
Half of the ground floor was damaged by the fire and the staircase from the ground to the first floor was destroyed. A small part of the first floor was also damaged by the blaze. Thirteen people left the building before the Brigade arrived and one man was treated on scene by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade was called at 2102 and the fire was under control by 2320. Fire crews from Tottenham, Edmonton and Hornsey fire stations attended the scene.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a gas leak.
