Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a a car showroom and workshop on London Road in Romford.
One motor vehicle was destroyed by fire and another was damaged. Part of the workshop was also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1956 and the fire was under control by 2110. Fire crews from Dagenham, Wennington and Ilford fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
