Car park fire - Peckham

Fire at commercial property

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in a multi-storey car park below an office block on Cerise Road in Peckham.

A small part of the car park on ground floor was damaged by the fire. Around 200 people left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1553 and the fire was under control by 1716. Fire crews from Peckham, New Cross, Brixton and Lambeth fire stations attended the incident.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
