Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire at an industrial estate on Coldharbour Lane in Rainham.
The ground floor of a four-storey print workshop and part of the external fascia of the first floor was damaged by the fire. Six people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1246 and the fire was under control by 1412. Fire crews from Harold Hill, Barking, Dagenham, Ilford, Wennington and surrounding fire stations were at the scene as well as colleagues from Essex Fire and Rescue Service.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
