Five fire engines and around 35 firefighters were called to a fire at a building used for both residential and commercial purposes on Wood Crescent in Shepherds Bush.
Part of the balcony of a flat on the first floor was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0839 and the fire was under control by 0906. Fire crews from Hammersmith, North Kensington and Kensington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
