Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a train station on Station Approach in Carshalton.
Part of the ground floor and the roof of the train station and an adjoining builder's yard were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 0257 and the fire was under control by 0509. Fire crews from Wallington, Mitcham and Sutton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
