Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in the roof of a house in Epping Close, Romford.
Part of the roof of the semi-detached house was damaged by fire. Three people left the property before the Brigade arrived.
The Brigade was called at 0828 and the fire was under control by 1025. Crews from Romford, Dagenham and Hainualt Fire Stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
