Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house converted into flats which is under renovation in Cranwich Road, Hackney.
Part of the first floor and part of the second floor of the building were damaged by fire.

The cause of the fire is believed be accidental and due to warm roofing felt igniting waste in an adjacent roof void.
