Derelict shop fire - North Cheam

Fire at commercial property

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended a fire on Cheam Common Road in North Cheam.

A derelict shop and the flats above were significantly damaged by the fire.

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received 23 calls about the fire.

The Brigade were called at 1705 and the fire was under control at 1913. Fire crews from Sutton, New Malden and Mitcham attended the scene.

 The cause of the fire is being investigated.
