Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were called to a fire in the basement of an office block on The Strand.
Part of a server room in a sub basement was damaged by fire. Approximately 250 people evacuated the building before the arrival of the Brigade.
The Brigade was called at 0906 and the fire was under control at 1111. Fire crews from Soho, Lambeth and Chelsea fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
