House fire - Wembley

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house in the grounds of a church on Stanley Avenue in Wembley.

Part of the first floor of the property was damaged by the fire. A garage and a wooden outbuilding were destroyed and a small part of the facade on the rear of the church building was also damaged. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 13 calls to the fire.

The Brigade was called at 2228 and the fire was under control by 0035 (Monday). Fire crews from Wembley, Park Royal and Northolt fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation
