Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a blaze in a third floor flat in Woolridge Close, Feltham.
Part of a five-roomed flat was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1527 and the fire was under control by 1608.
Crews from Feltham Fire Station attended the incident, as well as crews from neighbouring Surrey.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
