House fire - East Sheen

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on South Worple Way in East Sheen.

Half of the first floor of the terraced house was destroyed by fire.

The Brigade was called at 1014 was over by 1122. Fire crews from Richmond, Wandsworth, Chiswick and Kingston fire stations were at the scene.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and caused by rodents gnawing on a fixed main electrical wiring system.
