Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to garden sheds alight on Breakspears Drive in Orpington.
Two garden sheds were destroyed by the fire and a row of conifers were damaged. Firefighters cooled two butane gas cylinders to an ambient temperature as cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1143 and the fire was under control by 1339. Fire crews from Sidcup, Eltham and Bromley fire stations attended the scene.
