Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Buxton Road in Chingford.
A small part of the ground floor of the end of terraced house was damaged by the fire. One person left the property before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1128 and the fire was under control by 1156. Fire crews from Tottenham, Enfield and Edmonton fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
