Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Branksome Road in Brixton.
The second floor of a mid-terraced house was destroyed by fire and part of the first floor and staircase were also damaged. There were no reported injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1957 and the fire was under control by 2050. Fire crews from Brixton, Clapham and Battersea fire stations attended the scene.
