Maisonette fire - Chislehurst

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of maisonettes on Croft Close in Chislehurst.

Part of a four-roomed maisonette on the ground and first floor was damaged by the fire as well as half of the roof of the building. Three people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 1115 and the fire was under control by 1314. Fire crews from Eltham, Bromley and Sidcup fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
