Maisonette fire - West Drayton

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a block of maisonettes in Albert Road in West Drayton.

A first floor maisonette was destroyed by fire. Part of the properties roof was also damaged by fire. Two other maisonettes suffered damaged to the roof space.

The Brigade’s 999 control officers received 25 calls to the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 2120 and the fire was under control at 2358. Fire crews from Feltham, Hayes and Heathrow fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
