Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a hostel on Arlington Close in Hither Green.
Part of a bedsit on the second floor was damaged by fire. Approximately fifteen people left the building before the arrival of the Brigade. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1903 and the fire was under control by 2026. Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Greenwich and Forest Hill fire stations attended the scene.
