Firefighters rescued two people from a house fire on Fairfield Road in Kingston.
Part of the ground floor was damaged by fire. Two people were rescued from the first floor by firefighters using a short extension ladder. A further four people left the property before the arrival of the Brigade.
The Brigade was called at 0432 and the fire was under control by 0507. Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters from Surbiton and Kingston fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
