Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire in an end of terrace house in Kirk Rise, Sutton.
A loft was destroyed by fire.
The Brigade was called at 1008 and the fire was under control by 1111. Fire crews from Sutton, Mitcham and Wallington Fire Stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
