Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at Shadwell train station.
Crews tackled a small fire in an electrical cupboard.
The Brigade was called at 0941 and the fire was under control by 1209. Fire crews from Shadwell, Whitechapel, Bethnal Green and Dowgate fire stations attended the scene.
The Brigade's fire investigation team believe the fire was accidental and caused by an electrical event.
