Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a flat fire on Guildhouse Street in Victoria.
Part of a fourth floor flat was damaged by fire.
The Brigade was called at 0559 and the fire was under control by 0718. Fire crews from Lambeth, Chelsea, Soho and Kensington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
