Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a house on Ryecroft Road in Hither Green.
The first floor was destroyed by fire. Part of the roof of the property was also damaged in the blaze.
The Brigade was called at 0806 and the fire was under control at 0916. Fire crews from Lewisham, Lee Green, Greenwich and Forest Hill fire stations were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
