Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at an unoccupied block of flats on Cleveland Terrace in Paddington.
Part of the roof and part of the fourth floor of the five-storey building were damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers took 15 calls to the fire.
The Brigade was called at 1245 and the fire was under control by 1349. Fire crews from Paddington and North Kensington fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
