Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire a small fire in an electricity meter cabinet in a flat on Cambridge Road in Paddington.
The flat was slightly damaged by smoke. A resident left the property before the Brigade arrived and there were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade was called at 1035 and the fire was under control by 1118. Fire crews from West Hampstead, Hammersmith and Paddington fire stations attended the incident.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
