Flat fire - Chiswick

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were call to a fire in a flat in Burlington Lane, Chiswick.

Part of the three-roomed flat on the first floor was damaged by fire. A man was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

The Brigade was called at 1117 and the fire was under control by 1210. Fire crews from Chiswick, Richmond, Acton and Hammersmith Fire Stations attended the incident.  

The cause of the blaze is undetermined but believed to be accidental.
